I would expect nothing less from you

If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

Was a different time when PCBs were hand drawn and etched. Much more fun to look at in a lot of ways than a modern board.

Bigger.fatter tracks too,and easy to repair and unsolder components, you didnt need a microscope and a hand as steady as the guy who paints the coachlines for Rolls Royce to fix them!
Be seeing you.

Indeed, progress does have some costs. SMD re-work is not so bad with a bit of practice, some flux, and a magnifying lamp. But I know what I'd work on given the choice...

Alto mac 2.3,  yet another qsc rmx copy?
Transformer has 4 x 54Volt output / secondary windings.  Bus voltage 83Volts..
Claimed output power:
2x285W/8ohm rms
2x510W/4ohm rms
1x1000W/8ohm rms
1x2200W/4ohm (EIAJ)

rms ratings are pretty much ok, according to supply voltage.

Should I take my dummyload and make some real tests? :D

Power amp board is quite neat anyway, having 8 power bjt's / channel.
