Ok..given that it is named 'P1000',and also given the size and voltage of the transformer, and the modest size of the power supply components,(63v caps) would say it was designed to give 2x500 into 4 ohms. (hence P1000). Probably in real life would give around 2x400. Hope that helps. |

Yes, that is about right. I´ve seen the bigger brother (P2000) here for repair and that was around 800W into 4 ohm. Those amps do use decent o/p devices, so are a cut above the usual cheapo crap - and fairly simple to repair/work on if necessary. I don´t think that they have anything (directly) to do with RAM - maybe some people who split from there and set up making their own amps based on the RAM. |

Cravings I have a TOA in the store room that looks remakably similer. all be it layed out diferently. About the same age I would think. The toa has Hitachi fets.
