Why would you set the highpass higher when you use more?
People say that a stack drops deeper than a single, I know that this is not normally the case with tapped horns, only FLH, but people seems to agree that this is the case...

Would Oberton 18XB700 fare well? Looking to replace my MS46 mini scoops XB700 loaded with these. These seem to do exactly what I need and stack perfectly in height in 3 boxes.
Anyone Midlands based own any?

You should definately do a simulation, I get THE BEST results with rtm "red I" (Royal turbomax) Sims GREAT in there, quite a bit more LF!

@RCF: 18X401 beatiful? -Now look at 18X451, now THAT's beatiful, much better driver for horns / scoops etc, at only a little cost extra, X401 is more of a BR driver in comparison.

That Red I  has the potential to make a lot of cabs do the business be thinks. Needs a larger mounting hole but would love to try in X1, T18, Cyclops

I'm glad to hear that!
I did a sim of prime, which wasn't as good as 18-1500s or RED I, but I need to get my 18-1500s swapped for something some day and I have acces to xs :-)
I'll just take a dive in the old hornresp folders...

XS VS RED I (first in black)
Fane 18-1500 VS. XS:

RED I vs. 18-1500:

XS vs LF18X451:
