What sort of price are we looking at?

Would this include a d&B type grill?

CVA already build them in large quantities, probably quite cheap.

The problem with copies of these is that D&B use a much better crossover than the stock B&C one.  If you run them active this problem is removed of course.

I know them very well as everyone around here uses them.

CVA are based near London, build cabs and do club installs.  Nothing fancy, mainly their own variations on popular cabs but that includes their version of the Max15.

Admitedly it's probably not difficult to do yourself.  If I could get my hands on a real one I could find out what the crossover is.

The main local company runs them active with 1.2kW on the 15" and about 450W on the 2"! (2xCamco V6 + V3Quadro + DBX 4in8out to make a 4 way active monitor rack) Very f.ing loud wedges and sound very good to.  They also very very rarely blow drivers even running them hard on a daily basis at that level.

It's all down to B&C producing an excellent coaxial driver, all D&B or anyone else has done is to put it in a suitable box.  I think Proel might have brought out a version.  Admitedly the response isn't the flattest but given the EQ which often ends up being applied to stage wedges anyway it's not an issue.  I've also used the 12" (Max12) and 8" coaxial B&C drivers.  All very good.  The 8" makes a good install speaker.
