A lot of 3 way horn loaded mid tops ahve a short 12inch horn on low mid which wont work for kick. Examples include turbo flood and flash, void stasys 3, etc .

res 4 and 5 have a BPH but are only specced for 115hz and up. They can probably be run lower with compromised headroom.

When using 2 per side, these have a good "upper-bass" response (-3dB @100Hz) or with 4 (-3dB @80Hz)

Each cab = 2x12", 6" midrange + bullet.

"Triax" 3D model with "a cutout cross-section"

Sure it'll be interesting to see the specifications when they are released for the X3Smile

The "HF array" looks interesting.  It looks like the same concept that Nexo have used in their new "Line Monitor" series of Stage Monitors.

Personally I don't see any real benefit in designing tops which go lower than 80Hz anyway, as good subwoofers should be capable of producing reproducing 80Hz or more and if they are crossed over any lower then this is likely to be a waste of the efficient bandwidth which they are intentionally designed for....unless of course tops are required which can be run down low without the aid of any subwoofers...
