anyone knows how much amps this amplifier draws? or could someone give me a general idea so I can calculate how long my battery lasts..

was thinking just 12v, but it's more efficient at 24v right?

Technically no.

Anyways, power consumption with normal music signals is:

(supply voltage)^2 / (impedance * 16) + (supply voltage / 5)

(12v^2)/(4R*16)+(12v/5) = 4.65

?

4x the power, 6db more output / more headroom

as i dont need to run for long periods of time (10 hours max) then it works well for me
