The Mega ones were the best ones Barrie, along with Tony's at ASS. I wonder just how many of these were made, there seemed to be thousands of them at the time.
Be seeing you.

Yes we had sixteen of the Mega 4560s all loaded with the old K140 alnico drivers and they really did sound very nice and also pretty light cabinets back in the day---What I did like about the Mega design was that the front top and bottom panels were full size one piece with the ports cut into them rather than the cheaper way of making them out of three pieces of ply with gaps inbetween for the ports.
We also had some SSE 4560s built by John Penn in Nottingham which were also very nice solid builds.

Is this a typo or are these up lighters really that expensive?

Gaffa tape is like the force in Star Wars - there's a dark side and a light side and it holds the universe together

Pretty sure eBay shops do this when they've run out of stock (or something like that)... it's cheaper to whack the price up than it is do de-list it. In other words, if someone's mug enough to buy one at five grand, it's worth the fees!

It comes to something when the best part of your sound system is the C Form mains connectors---Also probably the most expensive component as well and is certainly not required when powering that pile of junk.
