Here's a good one.....almost 5 grand for a pair of second hand 2x18's? Not even in good condition, dings and chips all over. What kind of idiot pays that for a simple reflex box with some purple paint slapped on it?

In the 'Sellers Other Items" you'll find a pair of Funktion F88's for... £3,100! Over three grand for a distinctly average box with two 8" drivers and a slot tweeter (that you'll be hard pressed to find a diaphragm for). There's also an SR606 for £300. Says it all really.

I often look at their listed items and am sometimes almost stupified by their extravagent pricing. They changed their name a year or so ago, I'm sure that they had the word Liffey in there somewhere; can't remove the Nuneaton location tho.

"silverliffey", wasn't it?
They regularly used to put stuff up for auction, then claim it had been "lost in the warehouse" if the winning bid wasn't high enough for them... |

Was just posting this without having read the previous (recent) posts. Over £4k for a pair of passive stage wedges/monitors???
