Strange how all the other stuff on his EBAY shop is standard household stuff. I would guess that unless the decimal point is in the wrong place, he's simply chancing that a Japanese specialist collector will pay the money.

Currently its stored at my Mum's house in Maidenhead, its only suitable for pickup, and you will need at least 2 people and a Luton van with a tail lift. You cannot test it at my Mum's but I will guarantee everything works perfectly, if you are not satisfied, I'll gladly take it back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152528455072 |

I've always wondered what the hell is the point in owning a funktion one copy system in Europe. Stuff like this gets me titlted.

It's actually a lot of stuff for the asking price, problem is you dont know what you are buying. Obviously will be Mr Wong's drivers inside, but the cabinets could just be chipboard, who knows?

It gets even worse...
http://www.facebook.com/spencertarring/ This guy could afford a FK1 system 10 times over as well as being part of the industry he's damaging. I wonder why he's not bought himself a chinese ferrari knock-off. Edited by Darkstar - 29 April 2017 at 2:43pm |

Probably because of this, quote from his eBay ad "I've been a DJ for 20 years and I am based in China," and if you look at the last pic you'll see that it's the invoice to him at his address in Shanghai. He probably can afford F1 but not sure if they'd export to a private individual in China, and the cost would most likely be 3-5 times what he paid for the Chinese knockoffs |

Despite the fact that F1 has a distributor in China, so there would be nothing to export as I bet 8xR2 and 6x218/221 are already there, I still don't see why he would import it in the UK. Not to mention it's not something a "private individual" pays for to then use it on his own, this stuff was obviously bought for commercial use. He's basically brought it here bypassing import duties/customs and is trying to sell it for far too much money to not need a VAT receipt. There are reasons why you just can't do this. Being in the UK I also wonder what kind of troubles and return on investment one could expect. Price would've been more than double, surely not four-five times, but I wonder if it's worth paying half the price to then bring the same amount of kit for less than half the daily quote. |

It is a criminal act to possess 'fake' goods in France with the risk of a fine, confiscation and possible jail. Being France, there are no 'ifs' or 'buts' - the only question is, if guilty, what will be the consequences? This guy has already admitted they are illegal in the UK and so they will be in the rest of Europe especially if there has been a banning or restricting order put in place, so if the authorities were to be informed.... Just saying!

Mea Culpa. I didn't see the 'mum's house in Maidenhead' bit. I only saw the reference to France. Still, there will be an order banning the import of these goods into the UK so the last bit of my post still applies. Item no longer available. Wonder why?
