Haven't seen one of those for ages, made by McGregor sound in the very early 80's with a 200w amp built in iirc. if it all works could deffo be one for the collectors. my god, I've just realised how old I am.

This morning I came across a Harrison SP2000 mixer with a buy it now price of 60 quid so I clicked on the commit to buy button and did a cash on collection buy.
I message the seller to arrange collection as they are near my work.
Later in the day I get a message from the seller saying oops sorry made a mistake we really wanted 160 for it?
But as it's our mistake we'll let you have it for 100.
Now the point of my post would you pay 160 quid for a 30 year old Harrison mixer that has no indication that it even works?
Your comments are most welcome.

Oh by the way under the circumstances it may be wise to give this seller a swerve .

Offers are now circa £10.50. Please make offers to this asshole which will of course be rejected. Up in 10P increments, so 10.60 next.

i always assume 'sold as seen' to mean 'broken'.... so no, sounds like he is taking the piss!! Either way if you buy something they cant just up the price as they like, screw that.

yup I thought it was a bit of a piss take too so I spoke to flebay and the eventually agreed to smack the sellers wrists but only after I said I send all the transcripts of to trading standards.
and the sold as seen thing didn't really bother me as I had no intention of using it.
(I already have an imaculate Harrison SP7 thats had no use and is as new,
(pluged it in once saw the pretty lights and never plugged it in since)

so according to ebay even if you've agreed to "buy it now" by hitting the "I commit to buy button" and done a cash on collection sale the seller can (and did) cancel the sale and there pretty much sod all you can do about it.
yet again ebay prove what a shower of shit they are

The fact that this is a Harrison mixer means it very likely doesn't work or if it does it'll need a lot of work and there are no parts avalible for it, it's also only got two stereo channels (not 3 as in the advert) and the rest are mono mic channels so it's very unlikly matey is going to get the 160 quid he is asking anyway.
