For the first time in Norwich Forward brings you world renowned roots and culture sound system Aba Shanti-I. From residency at University Of Dub to a main attraction of Notting Hill Carnival, Aba Shanti-i which is also the name of the man who operates the sound system has become a leading figure of reggae music across the globe.

Norwich heavyweights Free King have been promoting reggae music, artists and sound system since they established in 2002 and have released their own productions on the SugarBeat record label with more to come. Featuring Jah Mirikle & Dandelion holding the vibe on the mic.

Room two hosted by Amen-tal present a rare live performance from one of the most respected mastering engineers and drummers in the drumfunk scene.

Macc, Besides his live performances he has also produced numerous releases on various labels such as Richard D James label Rephlex and Paradox’s Outsider Recordings.

Relapse who has recently grabbed the scene's attention with his energetic, chopped beats and aggressive basslines. Beyond the toughness though, he tames his beats with an almost tender quirkiness, drenched with haunting ambient tones. He has had several releases out this year ranging from ambient dubbed out drum and bass to full on rowdy drumfunk and is definately one to watch!

Support from local producers DJ L.A.B, Vocoda, Radman, and T-One.
Full Funktion-One sound system & Visuals provided by Daytime Televisuals.

This event is in association with Norfolk Black History Month.
