As I say I’m not the electric guy, but one thing that does ping up, majority of lighting socapex I’ve come across is 1.5mm on 50meter runs, usually getting fed from a 16a socket. That seems widely accepted

Guess it doesn't hurt to hear the gold standard solution. After that if one chooses to make a compromise its done with open eyes and awareness.
I didn't realise bundling caused such a huge derating.

The switch pack or dimmer pack may well be fused at 10A, or smaller, per live conductor. 16A cee is the most that connector will carry, could be upstream fused with a T500mA! As ever, plan, measure, measure some more. If your voltage drop, PFC, et al are within reg's limits, crack on. If not, your planning was crap. |

RCF HDL20A as hangs?
Glad distro worked well though. I do really like a flawless electrical system, perhaps I have a CeeForm fetish.... |

Spot the funny (Not trolling here, I've certainly done similar before, you have to laugh at it if you think about it, all that gear for that...) |

Not actually plugged in sub.... I'm inclined to guess maybe the one underneath it was though. (edit: and that it's a fancy light or centre fill stand) Edited by el chupacabra - 21 February 2019 at 11:20pm |
