I asked because you have posted some interesting pictures of gear that I assumed was yours and if so, at some cost. I wondered whether you bought and sold or just collected.

Hi Tony.

I never buy to resale. I usually keep what I purchase. Sometimes, I need to make room, then I will sell. I still have two pairs of Kef speakers (yet I had to sell the pair of 105/2). I do have many sets of JBL compression drivers and horns. I produce 2397 repros with aluminum fins as a kit. But it was because I wanted a set for me, i made a dozen and sold them. That's it.

I used to be a "resident" club DJ in the early to mid 1980s (punk, new wave, early electro and house, reggae/dub) and still purchase 10 to 20 (vinyl) records a week with the occasional CD when the vinyl can't be found. I love my vinyl.

My main occupation is to design and produce parts for BMW racecars after spending 20 years as an art director in advertizing.

Heard those PMC before (Unilet, New Malden)...and boy those speakers sings. Find them very different sounding compare to other speaker manufacturer. Even their bookshelf ones sound impressive.
