its a budget brand, and at only 93db/1w sensitivity and relatively low excursion a non brilliant product

Low excursion? As far as I can read the specification they have 51mm (2 inches) Xlim(p-p).

They're not pro drivers tough. Way too low Fs, power handling and sensitivity. It's studio/home theater sub drivers for those that want relatively small boxes that can be tuned to go flat to about 20 Hz without EQing.

Exactly - this is _not_ a "PA" driver. Fs = 20Hz !!

The dual voice-coil is pretty unusual too .... gonna mention this in another thread.

Also - from what I can gather  - IMG Stageline is a brand closely allied to Monacor. Now they sell quite a few mass-market drivers - I'd guess OEM to various domestic market manufacturers e.g. low-budget hi-fi, TV and other appliances ..... most of which will be made in China. But I think Monacor _does_ also do some specialist drivers - not cheap/nasty - which I suspect may be made in Germany.

REMEMBER....POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
