invader all the way!
Heard 4 of these outside with 2 USBs (which are almost exactly the same size, the usb being slightly smaller) and 3 void stasys mk3. The bass sounded sweet, very warm and full. They were easily loud enough, even standing 100 feet from the speakers you could still feel the bass pushing on your chest. These particular bins are fane loaded and owned by another forum member. Not sure what amp was running them, maybe he will explain how best to run them if he sees this. If i was building 18" bass i would forget about the 1850/186 and get on the Invaders. These cabs are in my "to build list" for sure, when i can afford it! Edited by Tocooltom - 17 January 2012 at 10:07am |

Worth remembering that the Invader is a sub, not a one-way bass solution. You will need kick bins or mid tops that go down to around 90-100Hz to use them.

Is it really? They can play happily higher than 90-100hz In my experience and i have 6 of them... however they're better crossed lower but then so are the 1850/186horns.

I certainly wouldn't play them higher than 140hz though. If you like things to sound clean. better off lower though

hello mate, Off the top of my head, looks like a run of 2 invader bins would cost 620
