Hi!!
I would like to have some rewiews/impressions about the EM serie. Is there anyone that have ever listened to it? I'm particularry interested on rewiews about the EM56 and the EM26 to go on top of my MTH-30.

Thanks, Giacomo.Smile

The only EM cabs I had my hands on were for an install, they were all RCF loaded and the cabs were built from MDF sounded ok though.

Just out of interest why don't you just build your own cabs? Have a look at the FR101 nice little box and quite capable.

Edit for some reason I quoted myself how very odd LOL

Some of the EM series are install versions of other parts of their range, particularly the Wavefront series.

Eg EM186 Is effectively a Wavefront 3 but made from MDF etc...

They all sound fairly reasonable.  I'd go with the larger EM56 personally.  EM26 is more of a background music box.

Got a pair of EM76 and keep up nicely with my 4x15" reflex.Thumbs Up

RCF 12's and B&C DE25 loaded on mine not sure on the EM56 though.

pair of EM56 on 1 MTH30 will be plenty loud enough for average size room I would saySmile
You might consider building another MTH30 to keep up.LOL.

like the sound from it hence I consider getting another pair but they only comes once in every blue moonOuch.

That is correct, now replaced by the AQ series I believe:- You will usually find more flying points, speaker bracket mounts on back and usually only a single NL4 & they are indeed made of MDF not ply. These are designed as install only speakers really. I personally would not choose them for a portable rig as that is not what they were designed for.

I've got a pair of em56's all working, great little boxes. Used them over 15 reflex bass cabs, sound very punchy and you'll be surprise what they can keep up with.
Still if interested, everything is for sale at the right price...
