Maybe because 1800 W AES is much more than needed for a scoop? |

how much is "needed" for a scoop?
some say 400W, others 800W, even 1.2kW - 1.6kW.. depends on what you are after i would say... TV00 you have anything to do with Dandelion? Ras where you from? Seen your posts on Rootssound aswell.. |

I made a quick search on the forum and over this post but there is no mention about EBP, I know thats just a relationship between two factors allready given ( Fs/Qes), but I'd like to understand how much, and also how in comparision with the rest of the given parameters of a speaker is important for having aggressive or sounding response for a driver loaded in a super...

HERE IS A FEW DRIVERS WHERE I WORKED OUT THE EBP FOR THE 1850/186 HORN,........
SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO HAVE TO CHIME IN TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION........ quote from 1850 plan- "PD 1850 and other drivers with an EBP over 125 and BL's over 28. For drivers with EBP's around 110 or lower use the 186 horn." Green is somewhere in between. Brown have the high EBP, but the BL is less than 28.
