I've read that Dom blew a V18 loaded X1 or two with a PLX3402 and I think i've just done the same. Dom, if you see this, what steps did you take towards this not happening again? I've had a search and it either times out or doesn't show me anything other than other people saying you'd blown stuff but nothing from yourself.
As far as I remember ours never got anywhere near clipping and was running the exact same limited input as our PLX2402 so shouldn't have gone too mental as they have the same amplification multiplier... |

Recall Dom saying he's never blown a PD1850 in an X1.
So maybe that driver is better suited to it. |

Ah well, we have 4 V18s now, and they sound ace so i'm reluctant to swap - just wondered if there was an idiot-proof workaround hehe.
