I've got myself a Marshall MG250HFX head, that came from a combo, that I'm looking to put in a new box and am looking for drivers for it. It's a stereo head so two the same is what I'm after and preferably 12". The head is a 2 X 50W unit so something around that area should suffice.
Cheers.

Marshall have used Celestion speakers since time began, so that would be my first choice. There's only a few to choose from so it might be easy. Sometimes a cheap cab will pop up on E-bay and will be less than the cost of buying the speakers.

I've got a pair of Eminence Big Cat 12", they're 100W, pretty good sensitivity, play pretty high. £30?

Cheers guys, (audio)Mik has reminded me of a shop in Bristol that specialises in vintage guitar stuff (Electric Ladyland in Old Market), so gonna have a look down there as well.
Also found a bargain on the 'bay that I'mm 99% sure are original Celestion Greenbacks... just not listed correctly. Sshhh, please don't tell anyone... and don't go looking and bidding against me!

Cheers Neil, I'll bear them in mind if things don't go to plan as they can always be replaced when I find 'proper' drivers.
