abit off the subject, but what kind of ohmage drop would you see using 50m of 4mm? only ask as we did this a month back as the venue was massive and cables had to run high above head. alot of people have said using over 15m cables get serious lack of bass...but didnt seem that way to us using 50m that night

Must be some ohm drop especially on low sub notes,  i have a chart somewhere, but we both know theory only tells us so much, application always teaches me more...  

I always keep runs short as poss, but like ya say sometimes we just dont have the choice in our business & its up & over with miles o cable lol.....

@ the Birmingham dance i mentioned the Crown V5000Z top lights started to dim, telling me to back off on bass as it was running outta steam, no surprise lol, but the only the second time i seen it happen in over 15 years playing them.

Updated amp racks... QSC powerlight & PLX's all now replaced by new Matrix XT range Thumbs Up.... all the Crown MA5000VZ's still stay on Bass/sub duties Wink

I think I recognise those mini-scoops , did you sell them to someone over the last few years , Submission soundsystem maybe?
