Well Yardman if they stop playing just roots and dub as we have discussed previously, then they may well come!

In all things there needs to be balance. LOL

As long as I "also" here some Old time R&C, and some digital dubs I'm happy.

There's plenty of excellent Roots & Dub productions out there that women like, such as Gussie P productions. Embarrassed

Lots of roots dances have a very large female attendance, the event in question is a sunday soundcheck so that could be one reason why female attendance is low, also could be down to promoting, or the area that its in doesn't have a big female following, any of those or all of those could be the reason. changing the music doesnt solve the problem of gettin women to the event for the sessions that have sounds who play dub music.

Well I can guarantee you all, that there will be a variety of genres covered on the 6th jan. we can't please everyone at the same time obviously but between the 4 sounds involved everyone will hear something they like at some point, Including the ladies

starts 5pm - midnight (officially)

No real difference in time apart from this one being billed to finish an hour later than usual as it is still a Sunday and most peeps working the following day, not forgetting the sounds work and effort before and after the session.
