Does anyone have a copy of the software reggae preamp that was released online a few years ago as a free download? Would be grateful if someone could share it with me. Thinking about a little fun project for it.

Is it possible to use a firewire interface as a crossover with that software, or was that already possible before with other software?

Focusrite Saffire 40 with 10 jack outputs -> 5 way stereo crossover?

No that's not possible, as far as i can remember. It's already splitted in 3 ways.
But you can do that easily with ableton

Are these 3 splitted ways also supposed to be sent by the computer through a firewire (or any other) interface to different amps?

Cool. Cool

I'll play around with that on my home rig.

It is a funny idea. Just put some XLR connectors on your smartphone and you have a preamp. Wink

I would not seriously use that in front of an audience. Too often laptop I have seen laptopselectors asking me if they can borrow some records because their computer did not work. LOL

I like the siren in it. Are there any standalone siren applications that can be used with a midi device?

It looks like this free version the software preamp can only be used with digital music files. Does the full version also work with external sound sources like vinyl? I see on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7Uc0wXFqQU that there are four input channels, 2x line, phono and mic.
