All 3 32bit versions of Vista are up-loaded, and W7 Hme Prem (I'd do that, Vista was, well, nearly as bad a Win8)

Which Vista mate? I never did the vista thing but, there are many options...

Its been playing up for a while - all ways having booting up problems (HD on its way out??)

@shagnasty - it was running 32bit Vista, probably keep the same as its only got a 1.8Ghz chip

Which version (x32 or x64), which flavour, I have access to all of them so tell me what you need and I will FTP an iso for you (you will, of course need a working PC/Mac to download from the FTP and burn it to disk...)

However this is why I have DELL laptops & DELL PC now.

Have bought DELL Win 7 DVDs for peanuts off eBay, and plain sailing since.

Laptop has decided to die on me - restored itself but it failed so I lost my C:Drive
