Earth Rocker from Huddersfield, last time I heard them, (1 year ago) they where running peveay amps on their double reflex, not sure of drivers, looked like fanes Thumbs Up
&
Axis from Huddersfield "sometimes"......... Axis has 21" scoops & also 18" doubles, they can configure their machine to play anywhere, last time I heard Axis they where running their links amps on their doubles Thumbs Up

Quaker city use reflex....a very good foundation sound..they can play original yard 45 and dubplate on turntable like any self respecting big sound used to do..and can play the digi buissness
QC always been respected for weight.
lovin the clash talk...excitement of musical & sound war has long been missing from sessions. gonna have to attend. 18 & 21 reflex n ffa..........Tongue lets hope they can throw enough pressure to satisfy the spl freaks.
not heard operation since they played axis n cosmic which was prob 10 years ago so cannot comment about that sound...opearation running pd scoop n crest/crown ?
I hope people don't mistake volume/ dust from ceiling for quality  of depth of bline. open to interpretation but to me heaviest sound is the sound with the most weight (depth of bline)...that clearly achieves every note at reasonably equal level and with sufficient power to feel it all over the hall.

Heard Aba many times over last 20 years..great sound.
i last heard aba and jts play together a couple of years ago in Bristol for JTS 40th aniverssary. on that occasion JTS was louder, clearer and heavier.
without JTS there would be no Aba. Aba come from JTS.
