Is the internal volume of the X15 aprox 6 cu. ft.

Also, if I needed for some reason to build my own crossover, have the specs been posted here before.

Thanks

A crossover schematic for the X15 has been posted (not sure whether this if for the 1" version though), but this board has suffered under a hack and the design is no longer linked from the forum.

B.T.W. I have finished my two way (SN15MB + BMD450+ PH220) cabinets and installed crossover that sounds best is ridiculously simple (6db/oct @ 2000Hz on bass and 6db/oct on 5600Hz on High-s)… P.audio PH220 horns have rising curve from around 5000Hz to lower freq. and this combination makes thing pretty flat..

Could you use simple op amp circuit to equalise response and make the HPF down near where the LPF is ?

Im unsure of what horn type the PH220 could be CD i guess.

If you REALLY want you can do lots of things to try and get best results from these horn + 15" combo

@ tbmike, though OPamp filter circuits are great for DIY audio at home, in pro-sound situations one needs something more rugged, generally with balanced inputs and outputs.

My only concern would be, whether the driver lives with a first order crossover. Most crossovers use a high pole for the first filter section and another set closer to intended x-over (CD horns only). Certainly seems like a very simple crossover and if it works it would be a gret budget alternative.

Is the posted x-over for the 1.5" version?
