Top amp - my new VALV-A-TRON Tradition 500 valve amp. Below - original late 70's 600. Both will be in production to buy soon after full testing/tweaking.

The quad is intended for 'road use'. It is heavy, but now has chrome lift handles. It will be supplied with matching low level dolly (plywood with casters under it). You just have to lift the box onto the dolly and push up ramps or onto tail lift, or just do it the old fashioned way if there are steps.
Its loaded with Fane Crescendo 18"s, original re coned ones from the late 70s, but I am having my own drivers manufactured for further ones. Sounds fantastic with matching valve amp, but cannot test to the full as one of the drivers is a Fane Classic and cannot keep up with the Crescendo's. (anybody got a spare Crescendo they want to sell? preferably blown, as will be re coned anyway). It wired series parallel (8 ohms) but amp has 8 ohms output and a 4 ohms output (in case you want to link 2 quads.

I have a pair of the old Fane Crescendo Colossus 18" drivers here with grey hammerited chassis and both in perfect working order with good cones in them.
