nice one Riddim Kid, not sure when you heard it but it was powered off a QSC pl380 and one off the cables from the amp to the stack after investigating found out it had melted and arc (cheap chinese neutrik copy) taught me a lesson as i thought i damaged 3 turbos
My low mids weren't ready in time but overall i was happy with the sound

On the second pic on this, are the things where it says weird doeble flared scoops actually scoops? I've seen a design for something similar to these in a really old copy of the loudpeaker + headphone handbook which has some things that look like this. They had one front loaded 10'' in a sealed enclosure, and then 2 separate 12'' folded horns in the back, with the horns coming out either side of the front loaded 10''. Says the pic is from Gallien-Kruger. (the one in the book is actually 2 front loaded and 4 horns in one box) has anyone seen heard/heard of these before? bet they're a chore to move around.. I designed my own version of this with an 18'' front loaded and 2 15'' inch folded horn and named it THE UBER HORN, but never tested it... too big and not enough time/ money etc etc... sorry this aint scoop talk..... |

I like the coloured surround cos it makes dem look more hand made, like they were hand built for the job, much less factory built looking.
