well Ebony showcase won the sound clash yesterday at golden palace, and was using the PCM18, powering 4 ass rx18 scoops B&C loaded.....

Edward told me today, he never even needed the full power output from amp, and amps ran cold all night, and was over the moon with there performance...

Ebony said he was going to tell Tony wilkes that they are staying in his racks, and will replace his 10k matrix amps....

Yes i totally get it. Just wondered why would you chose the iron one over the lightweight if they perform as claimed?

Cost. LOL

If a new transformer amp, is cheaper than used MA5000VZ, but still outperform it in 4 ohm stereo, that needs looking into. Wink

Lev those are Chinese made amps. The price is already low. The difference between smps and classic one should not be that big.

£240 difference I think, looking to get one but I have this thing about trannies over smps on bass duty.

after listening to matrix and qsc pl amps I like the ligtweights
 
but think it might be worth testthe tranny vs the smp
Produce a killer sound. Take no prisoners.
