Enjoyed watching this come together Dub Specialist, top quality workmanship there.
Thanks for sharing photos of progress. So which 12" drivers did you end up loading in that mid-box with the 2402 tweeter???

Cool mellotone thanks for the kind words respeck man,
well ive have quite a few ive been testing with, from old fane studio very old Crescendo sound buifull very clean loud and sensative, celestion, and old ev's too few more pics of another Vintage double 18in old skool reflex, size of a g-sub , but put big 45s and plenty bracing in to take up internal volume, so tuned for the old 70 drivers, so internal litres according the the vas on driver specs.... will look nice when stained and varnished..haha again :-) more knots the better man, look lovely when stained, and usded this type of ply on purpose, not a cheap skate, it look so good the grain really stands out, as long yu build the soild , more bracing still to go in, and all battened around the inside really soild still tbh...tha good man |

Yes Dubs, that box shaping up real nice man!
Knots all line up down one side, tabby cat stripes on the other–gonna look mighty fine once it gets a couple coats of stain. Envious of your productivity. I'm nearing a decision for my Colossus 18s soon. Was planning to move forward with a by-the-book Fane 200L build of (2) single reflexes housed in (1) box to create dual appearance— but now seeing this cab I'm liking the looks of it even better. Especially like the location of the port on that dual you got there. Is there an existing plan/diagram for this one? Any chance you'd be willing to share a link/upload/PM it when you have chance? Assuming it would work with a mid to late 80s era Fane Studio Colossus 18Bs, no? Best of luck with finishing the build. More progress, more photos if you get round to it. |

Serious bizness DubSS, look real sharp. Stain finish came out handsome.
Now only needs a partner to dance with. What material those grills made of? |
