These the "line array" boxes as used by PRG?
Utter utter crap. Really awful. Shockingly so! Bet they've made a mint from them though... |

hello chris,.just to use as high bass, mid & top to go on top of my
subs, would they work that way? or do they have to be flown?.or if i get 4
pairs like ive planned,.just use them 4 a side & get them all to
stand vertical from the ground up.
these aint the cabs,.but im sure ther not to far from these,.2x15,4xmid & 2 hfs per box..i would imagine them half decent,,hev you ever heard these chris? Edited by BASSHORSE - 18 October 2014 at 6:52am |

Yes, once or twice.
They may be ok for stripping some cheap drivers but the HF clarity will Be nothing like you are used to from your large format ev horns etc They would have to be very cheap... |

I would have thought tri-amp'd not by amp'd but for the cheapness of 82 squid a pair it might be worth a punt AND if you dont like thir sound have a play with different drivers til you are.... its by no means the most logical way of doing things but £82 for a pair of prebuilt cabs without drivers is still pretty good going and you get a bunch of free drivers for your troubles!!!
.... can you not demo them before buying and see what they sound like? |

Thats still a lot of fire wood for 82 quid..... its gotta be at least 3 sheets!! And if all else fails the cat has a new house to play in (and cat "houses" start at 75 quid... and THATS made of chip board!!!!!!!!)

Is any of the Ramsa gear any good? I'm assuming it's all Panasonic gear and not rebadged from someone else?

It's all rebadged from someone else.
Put it this way, we blew 2 drivers playing with it, having been offered it at a similar price (we would have had to take a LOT of boxes though)! There's a good reason that's it's only used for speech... |
