Are these skeletals with custom cabs or originals?

Everything is original.

Just having a massive over haul. The subs still have the Brit row days paint of them. On some areas of the subs the paint has been as deep as 4-5mm. And the tops have a good 5 or 6 layers on them.

Hard work getting the old paint off. Done one bass bin so far and that took two days!

having done similar restorations, prior to Line-X, my advice is to get ALL the paint off the boxes. Tedious and difficult, but you will loose most of the good bonding properties which is one of the main advantages of polyurea if you are not applying to bare wood.

I find it hilarious that my friend runs "DSS Sound System" here in Sydney and is restoring a Turbo rig too Clap

Could you not get the cabs dipped or similar like they do to strip old doors?

Dipping is a horrible process. I've not done it with cabs or ply but I reckon it would dissolve the glue in the joints and probably start to separate the ply.

My old floodlights when I finished refurbing them Embarrassed

Not to the taste of a purist I'm sure, but I'm young and like shiny stuff.

Paint the woodwork purple for an extra 10db. Your van will go faster if they're blue though...

It's a F1 design after all, probably their first.
They sold it to turbosound to fund their new company.
In voxhall, Aarhus, Denmark they have these boxes with a "F1" sticker on.
I remember the old F1 webpage, kept on hangning in cyberspace for quite a while.
