One out of Eight CSL/Powerbase3 I use to power four Double 21s. They consume a lot of current (Class AB) however, have no issues delivering a lot of power from 20 Hz and below.

Before Clipping (shown in the video)

58.7 volts, 30 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 861.42 watts  (not shown in the video)

55.3 volts, 20 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 764.52 watts

53.1 volts, 10 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 704.90 watts

50.3 volts, 5 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 632.52 watts

At Clipping (not shown in the video)

61.5 volts, 20 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 945.56 watts

58.9 volts, 10 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 867.30 watts

57.5 volts, 5 Hz, 4-ohm Load: 826.56 watts

The CSL 1400 = Macrotech/Microtech 2400. The CSL 1400 offer fewer semiconductors than the Macrotech/Microtech 2400 which is why, it is rated 4 ohms minimum in stereo mode and not 2 ohms minimum like the Macrotech/Microtech 2400.

So it's not linear then Elliot.

Why 5 and 10Hz and below 20Hz etc?

861 watts @ 4R  ... 30Hz ...

Double 21's

So .. thats 430 Watts RMS out of the amp per 8R speaker

so would be ideal for a 21" speaker with an AES rating of around 215 Watts ...

Four Double 21's = 8 woofers.

8 CSL 1400s Bridged = 1722.84 each woofer or 13,782.72 watts total for all 8 woofers before clip @ 30 Hz.

Oh well, yeah, if you use two amps per box, that should drive it nicely :)
