Hi guys reading a lot of the posts in this section I notice a few posts saying don't give more than 800watts into certain drivers in this box and given that the original driver was an 800watt driver do I assume that if using the v18 1000 I shouldn't welly it with more than 800watts rms?

I had 1200w per X1 with voids in them. Even that probably wasn't doing them justice

So if the driver is only rated at 1000 watts rms anything over and above isn't over loading them then cookie?

i have mine on pkn xd4000. normally one a side.. so that's nominally 1300w. high pass at 35 though.

So I assume by that you mean they only play to 35hz then 35hz +is over to kicks then cravings?

No I think he means 35hz high pass to about 70hz + |

High pass = anything higher than said frequency will be played e.g 35hz and above Low pass = anything lower than said frequency will be played e.g 70hz |

yep hi pass means it allows anything higher to pass low pass anything lower passes [its not a brick wall tho remember it rolls it off not blocks it]
