they're very similar looking to the thl.. 811 or thl4 10" anyway.. are they 10" horns? i have in my head that they're 12s...

The phase plug is pointless, it's just a blob of fibreglass in the way of the cone driver.

if you look back into the past on here, there was a mid top shootout.. with an mt121, one of these and a porn horn, from what i remember. think adambomb and rog were involved.. search it up.. there's measurement plots and wisdom in that thread.

have had MTs (too heavy), Porn horns (rarer than unicorn poo)..

Got project coming up, need light, hornloaded 12" section.

Bassenmass on here has 4 SP12 horns loaded with 12" BMS neo's and 1" for sale. Probably worth having a chat with him before you spend your money on anything else. I used to have 4, rate them highly. Very effecient boxes and sound as good as anything else of the same format that ive listen too.

i've heard them and been really impressed before. Better than an MT121 in my books! 

 Interested why do you guys think the phase bung doesnt work? Surely the overall sound is a result of the horn and the phase bung?

 In my own experience, phase bungs make most horns sound worse. Even if they do increase the HF

Are they modified or standard?

I don't like BMS, so would be taking them unloaded anyway.
