That's more or less the exact system I want to build next. 2x10 midtops and 15 bins make a lot of sense as a configuration, and that build looks really nice :)

(But powered from EPC780's, as I happen to have a couple lying around and they are *luvverley* Wink)

Mala and a 'little' stack of Danley we took to Bristol Trinity the other week for Teachings in Dub weekender.

My 'lab' up in Glasgow last week with Martijn from A-Live...

And a little Fulcrum Acoustic install in a new speakeasy bar that launched this weekend.

Slowly getting there, with items that Jase the Bass and Dub Specialist Sound will immediately recognise - thanks guys. Just need to play about with the amp racks and the cabling and I'll be able to give it a test.

That’s that QSC system!

How you getting on with it? We were surprised how good it sounded when we took it out of its install.

haha the infamous QSC rig! I was at the first ever gig the original install used it for, was very good back then. I feel the house guys just kept fettling with it and made it worse and worse and worse.... Figured it should be alright in a nice sounding room, without any crazy EQ applied.

Glad to see it lives on, will do you proud!!

It was quite a surprise if I’m honest Pat, it sounded truly terrible in the venue. We bought it back, stuck a XTA on it with some T5n’s and stood there scratching our heads at how good it sounded :)

The new instal sounds heavy! Fully FFA driven a 6004DSP G2 per pair of mid high then a FFA10k per side of subs.

Slow progress mate, took a while to source the matching two scoops and load them up; there are another two somewhere in the UK that I really need to try and find. They have ME on the back and were originally, we think, from a builder in Derby.

First test of the little garden rig I have been building this last two months. Just one of each sub to test the rack and get the DSP dialled in. There are another 4x18'' and 1x twin 15'' but they are behind in the container.

And a nice tidy patch panel. 8core into 2x NL4 so I can use the cables elsewhere.

All in all it went perfectly. All connections good, all in phase, all channels did what I wanted, when I wanted.

The LIGWA 18's are very relaxed and deep, much warmer than I had hoped, and the shermann CB215gx have an urgency behind them that makes for an interesting complement. They come together around 60hz and make for a very hard hitting combination. The HD215 are amazing. Clarity and punch, lovely highs and a really hard hitting mid bass powerband.

The berry amps are light and pack a massive punch. Very happy with them. I didn't even have them on quarter power and I was very impressed with only two bins.

Thanks to all who have answered my queries this last 6 weeks or so. This is the result, also a very happy Noyzmunky. I now intend to get it out and have a laugh with it in memory of the friend who recently died (37, dropped dead cooking dinner) who inspired this whole thing.

Thank you brains trust for all the advice and help to get it here.

sorry to hear about your friend.
