Little system we had out in Manc last weekend for Fete de la Musique after setup.

Volt 18" reflex with F1 AX88 on poles. Great party and a wicked time had by all. Smile

Resonant sounds, Nottingham based sound system.

Tops double 12" with sealed enclosures and slightly modified bms 4554 on tractix horns. powered from bittner xb series  amplifiers

Bass bins are a compact single 18" loaded design, that shift some serious pressure for the size.

its not actually my rig, it belongs to a good friend - just my design and build a couple of years back.nice having the opportunity of using it on a gig where everyone was so interested in sound quality.

the only downside was cleaning the mud off everything afterwards, as we supplied the stage, structure, lighting, power distro, infact everything other than the set and projection!

Sounds like he didn't!

It does look effective though. the blue and purple flower looks like its built up from lots of squares of board, presumably mostly assembled on site apart from the centre. I guess the other one is done in a similar way.

Digging the interlocking tops / wedges, looks fun to stack though

Yes, as i said above did not do the set - it was put together on site from the pre-cut petals made elsewhere with many screws and much battens!

The system is extremely light, the twin 12" kick sections and the mid high horn boxes all weighing less than 20Kg each, so once the subs are stacked, one man can build the rest of the stack with ease. Everything, including the wedges have interlocking grooves / battens which allow you to use the wedges in either direction whilst also locking everything together without any slippage possible once it is strapped down.
