I'm loving it that a twenty five year old pair of 1210's are currently worth more than a pair  of cdj1000mk3's..

Good engineering...good and iconic bit of history...not to mention industry standard e'rywhere. I'll never sell mine!

Price is ridiculous though...I paid £250 and £300 for two seperate Mk5s almost two years ago and now Mk2s are selling for more than that...wonder how it'll change when they release that new model...

i managed to find one for £2100 + vat ( richer sounds of all places) - big investment, but completely different deck to the old 1200, and all the better for it. Build quality is stunning, enough to make pioneers look like far worse value for money.

1200s at 13! You must have been very spoilt. My 1210s are only 5 years younger than you.

AVlee does TT servicing? Ill have to get in touch. Have had my SL1200's for 20 years. Bought from Richer Sounds in Croydon, I remember the day well. Especially the look on my ex wifes face when I carried them into the house and later set them up.
