I'm trying to calculate the limiter settings for my BMS 4594 comps run off a MC2 MC450, but I can't find the input sensitivity for the amplifier.
It does mention +5 dbm does anyone know how this relates to volt/dbv/dbu?

Hi
10.000 ohms with 5 dBm would equate to 5.62 volts (RMS). That seems very high for a 450 watt per channel @ 4 ohms amplifier. I would contact Mc2 just to be certain. Best Regards, Edited by Elliot Thompson - 21 January 2017 at 12:10pm |

They're designed that way for better S2N ratio and noise floor.
