I heard years ago that part of what was stolen was his spare pre.
I think I've jumped the gun, spent some time looking at old pics on web of Shaka's pre, and the one sold on fb was different, maybe built as a visual copy. Shaka's pre was simpler.
I get rosey eyed when harking back to the real Shaka days (nights).
Shaka's set changed over the years too, mk1 mk2 mk3 etc. I only heard mk1 once, at the 'Crusty dance' in Mandela Hall, Sussex University. Late 80's. What a night. Called the crusty dance, because there was a new age traveller site by Stanmer park, and alot turned up. Shaka was really on form that night, sound had the big white round horns on top of each stack. We arrived early, and he was running dubs of rhythms from Dub symphony.
Miss those days toooo much.
