Hi.
What is the difference between the 1850, 1851/2, 1852 and 1850/2 recone kits and how do i tell which i need?
I'm guessing they will all fit the same basket but there is a big price difference between them.
The drivers are fitted in ASS BS600s if that helps with the decision on which cones to use.
Cheers.
It's not how big it is, it's what you do with it!

Sorry to hijack the thread slightly, but my question is really a rephrasing of the same question.

I was wondering about fitting an 1850/2 recone kit to an original 1850 basket. Will this work and will the refurbished driver then be as good as an 1850/2 or was there a difference in the basket/magnet.

Regards,
James

OK, to update the thread, hopefully help the OP and to prevent my question causing further confusion, I now have the answer from another thread.

The /2 variant apparently has a deeper basket so this would not work.

This information was gleaned from the thread here:
