Hi I'm Currently Using Super Scoops Loaded With 21” RCF LF21N451 In A 3 Way System Setup Crossover At 90hz They Sounds Great I Love Them Very Much But Wood Worm Has Taken Them Over So I Have To Rebuild Was Wondering If There’s A Smaller Enclosure I Can Build That Would Give Same Or Similar Performance As The Super Scoops Are A Pain To Move Around With. |

Hey. I guess there is not much similar. Every enclosure type has its strenghts and weaknesses, and that´s why we build them all, dependin on ones needs.
I just got 21" in a bassreflex box, and it is unlike any 18" I´ve heard before. The bass is thick and sick. But it propably won´t hit that hard in the upper range. Only thing you can do is to find an inch smaller scoop :-D |

Nikon and Canon people should not be married to each other. Why did you let this happen?

mini/midi scoops if you like the sound of the big scooper…..
Rhino scoop with PD1850 for example can go flat down to 40 Hz (I've measured it), and has a nice punch. "Some" builders are said to have even more potent mini designs. But then comes the perpetual question of how to get a DIY plan. Don't ask me, this is the scoop forum, no one is supposed to disclose anything y' know cloak and dagger business seen? |
