12 of any of the above would sound fine. These are close copies of each other. I always get a kick from someone who copies the Turbo bass box then claims it as their own. Tony must love this. VECTORSONICS

Like I wrote you we measured -3dB at 32 hz on a pair of tsw-218s, this beat any other bph we measured (in same warehouse) this is almost according to specs (down to 30), but if you use single or especially if you put one vertical it won't drop that low, just rip the cones.
Could have something to do with the driver as well.

I suggest you simulate 6 pcs of each horn like you plan to make, I never really figured that out, going from one to two should be like 0,5 spcae to 0,25 space, but I never think I managed to get the same response by choosing more boxes in horresp...

yes, I intend to make a stack 4/6 (elements 1x18)..the simulation here above ...is understood 2pi steradiants, single 18" rcf lf18n401  90vrms whit a 40hz lr 24db filter to to see the excursion, that is practically the same for the 3 boxes but with the peak at obviously different frequencies..

in any case, i always simulate  at fist the single box, which is  working under unfavorable conditions compared to working in a stack (mutual speaker) help...anyway thanks tv00 for  the infos!

Try to compare to the 218 with a simulation of 18nbx100 :-)
+Any particular reason for just that rcf driver? I think cone might be a bit heavy (perhaps also on the b&c, but that's something similar if not the same in tsw218)

goodmorning, the lf18n401 has a 201mms whit a bl of 28  vs the 217 mms and a bl of 25 of the 18nbx, there are similar cones, i'm attached to rcf products, there are economical and reliable and the spare pare are very easy to find (recone)... nothing holds me to use other woofer
I looked at your old posts, but your myriad of bass, not are the daish plan  tt1000?

opinions, between one spaker and  the others?..ok i know the tsw are the deepest..but the others, punch, low end, musicality?..you are one of the few who can judge by experience, that is the purpose of my postSmile

Oh, good question:-)
tsw218 is lower, 718 is "funkier" a bit like tse-118 I think (all out of memory, not comparisons)
The ms118s with the pd.1850s has a brutal chest punch, srts too (like tse-315, a 215 with 3 drivers, used in pairs) the details in kick here is GREAT & very hifi, crosses higer easilly)
tt1000 have a growl, they're brutal too, but it gets too much if they reach 120hz, they're quite similar to tsw-218, but has less compression. I will try to mod a pair for a test with more compression :-)
These two last ones appears to drop deeper.

nice review...one thing, you've seen difference on power compression in the reverse woofer cabinets vs traditonal  magnet in the rear chambler (tse118 tsw718 ecc..)?
