Big smile

Muddy ones, maybe.

Is the new generation not an exclusive fk1 design transducer.

They are the yardstick for bass bins.. anyone who heard the 221's at glastonbury knows this it would be interesting to A/B them against the Mogales offering.

truly more is less.

It is but I believe its basic origin is the PD neo 21" which then got pimped by the farm.

They are stupidly nice bass bins though, just a pity about the size/cost for us mere 218 using mortals Dead

The PD21 is Tony Andrews-Turbo design which was re-used for the F221. The chasis on the early F121 & F221 is the old flood and flashlight 21 with a Neo magnet. The Chasis has since been re tooled with a Funktion-One tool at great cost to Funktion-One. A picture of the tool is available to see on the website, under Misc pictures. So, its a F1 driver, Neo magnet and dual voice coil.

The F121/F221 is the most Musically sounding Bass bin availabe on the market-in my opinion.

Brown stands for L-Acoustic.

Hope this helps,

I heard the new mk2 218 and it does seem a fair bit better, but it was no A/B im going from memory. Old ones didn't drop low enough in small numbers.

I had purchased four last week and used them for the first time last Friday in Piques in Cannock and Saturday at the Revolution Bar n Club in Walsall.

Absolutley stunning, had the police at the venue to turn down the bass on the Friday gig and on the Saturday we pissed the Dj's off in the club next door to the bar I did... also the club over the road WS1 was curious what the hell was going on and the whole of Bridge Street, walsall wondered what the hell had hit them..!!!

I want MORE, MORE, MORE... !!!!
