@bob4
We are friends with all our own sound and try to make something together for every party. My friends like the wbins more. And some bins where a fase like the hog scoops and the jbl 4560 bins. We have used the whole concept01 stack at a party. ![]() I think when I use my own processor they sound lovely, crossed at 120 and the tops properly delayed. When I use the processor from MasterBlaster they sound differently, really high crossed at around 800 i think. The bass sounds really nice and warm and on really loud volumes the bins don't start to make fart noises (no more air movement than there can be displaced). I used the WSX bins also on a party and I think they can do more dB's, but at higher volumes you start to here the fart noises. But compared to other modern high volume subs I guess that it is normal that the woofers move more air than they can displace in the horn. I don't have any measurement gear, not even a microphone. @Bams Yeah that is the place where I started with my quest for information about this bin. But the original creator of these bins doesn't reply there anymore. And few that still respond there are from the 90's era and not of the beginning in the 80's. So they could help me with some stuff but not the exact details. Edited by fausttricky - 29 February 2024 at 9:34am |

These are the not complete and not completely correct measurements, not made by myself but also by the one who made more himself. ![]() So maybe someone can use this to draw up a plan or model some approximation in hornresp. I'm not a technical guy myself. |

![]() I've decided to try to use them both. I think the martin audio bins work fairly well as kick bins on top of the Master Blaster cabinets. No real measurements yet though. Keep u guys posted on my journey. |
