Hi All

I used to be a DJ in the Thomas A'Becket Old Kent Road from 1986-1996, the speaker system we had there were own built J W Parker speakers, they had a 12" base driver with 2 x 4 mid/tweeters angled 45 deg from each other, the style of the cabs were like Bose 902 but the fronts were open so you could see the drivers.
Does anyone have any pics of them speakers they can share, i have been looking for many years and have never found any, i would just like to see them for my own history.

Thanks in advance

I used to work at JW Parker sound systems.
the box you refer to is the JP90, they were loaded with a RCF L12-544 extended range driver and a pair of JBL 4" drivers for the highs (but only up to 13k and we did change the make of driver at some point)
This is the closest I have to a photo of them.
we also made another version with the same bass driver but with a Gauss compression driver on an Altec Mantaray horn which was mounted on the top of the box called the JP180.
These were not homemade but manufactured by JW Parkers as an alternative to the Bose 802 for our installation sites

That is them !  Just love the design but I was always blowing the 4ince drivers lol
I used to be the Friday and Sat DJ at Thomas Abecket from 1987 to 1998 wonderfully years, they also had one set of 802 but was no where near as good as the parkers, would love to find a pair now but me think there's no change what so ever, but thanks for posting the pic 😃

Yes the 4" JBLs were a problem which is why we change them, we made about 2000 of those boxes so it's a fair chance some may turn up but it you do find some you'll need the system controller to go with them too it's a small aluminium box with 5 jack sockets on the rear, we also made an 18" reflex bass spear to go with these too with either an 18 Gauss or JBL driver in each box the Gauss were 8 ohms and the JBLs 4ohms
