In the end it seemed to be fine as sealed when I recently took some measurements of it, I feel like it sounds better to me how it is now too.

Hiya, sorry to bring back your old thread. I loved the pic of your first 2 THAM12 with mids and tops, and I was just wondering... how mobile would this be on a sturdy bike trailer? Could you give me an estimate of its weight? Or whether it'd be possible (note that I don't say easy, hehe) to move short distances by bike (under 10 km)?

Hey man that's all good. Cheers too im very happy with it all!

I know the weights of some of it but not all of it.

The tham12s with these drivers are 22kg each.
The battery with amp and cables box is 39.7kg.
The rest is a guess but id say the tops are probably about 5kg. And the mids are probably about 15kg i would guess.

I have pulled the whole thing (2x subs not all 4) on a decent hand trailer and it's easy enough by myself. No idea about on a bike though.

Thanks a bunch, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I read Jimi Handtrix's blog on his build, so I'm thinking of going the 18 volt dewalt battery route to shave off some weight (car batteries are heavy!!!) 
Also, I'm not sure about 1 or 2 sub boxes... I can get my hands on a very nice sounding 18sound 15 inch speaker and might do a cubo around that (or a hog scoop style box, I love the look of them) and go with 1 sub, or go your route and build 2 tham 12s... 2 looks great, and after seeing the Marabiyak crew in Barcelona, I've just been dreaming of something like this every time some extra bit of cash rolls in...
What do you reckon, 2 12 inch subs, or hefty 15?

2x tham12s is impressive I think for the size. I would go 2x 12s than just 1x 15. But up to you. 

I recently built this and have it with me now at Rosa Festival it's a tham10 with 2x 4" faital pro mid/tops. It sounds great for the size and now it's broken in a bit is sounding better again. It runs off 1x 18v Makita battery. Might be a good option if you wanted to fit it to a bike for easierness

I used to pull an MTH30 on a bike trailer with a Tannoy 8" coaxial midtop on it and a 40AH golf cart battery, it came to about 50kg total. It worked OK, but was pretty difficult to manage around lumpy festival fields. I snapped two quick release skewers before I got a bolt-in rear wheel, never snapped that since. 
I'd say 50kg is a reasonable safe upper limit for trailer weight if you're pulling with a standard adult sized mountain bike. You could probably go a bit heavier if you have a fatbike with big tyres and good brakes. 
And try to keep the centre of gravity low, else you'll tip it going round corners. How do you think I know that LOL

That's a pretty box, as well. Not planning on any festivalling, just around the city and local bars/pools, so looks are important, hehe

Thanks man! I don't currently, but I will do if you'd like. I could see if I can upload my DSP setup too for the sigma studio software that come with the amplifier, which so far seems great! Obviously each to their own but you can try it. I'll try and knock up some plans in a couple weeks for it. The tham10 itself is on the owners website freely available.
