HELLO! long time no post
My friend/neighbour/landlord has asked me to help fix an old peavey pro15 that appears to have a dead compression driver, Im going to be looking at it later to test it isnt the crossover or a loose connection or whatever from the pics he sent me im almost certain its an 8 ohm pa d25 [and believe me ive seen alot of those drivers back in the day lol the code on the back is the same code as well lol] problem is its likely its either the crossover or the diaphragm [not many other options lol] the diaphragm appears to be out of stock/production in most places any one have any idea where to get a diaphragm for one of these nowadays? blue aran has it listed as discontinued il probably email them just to check they dont have an odd one lying about old stock but thats a long shot lol so if anyone knows where I might be able to find one he would be most apreciative if not i guess il have to just swap the compression driver out for something else similar which isnt an issue id just rather fix than replace though old fashioned i know hope everyone is enjoying the weather and thanks in advance for any replies whether they be usefull or just funny all good lol ![]() mark |

If its the brown linen diaphragm, I'm pretty sure OHM used the same one in their RW3 HF.

If its the 4 hole type mounted on glass or fibre board, then there's quite a few replacement options available with various diaphragm materials.
