Hi guys just wondering what you thought of the idea to put punishers above looney bins as sort of kicks?
Running from 90-150/200 hz ? Cheers :) |

It is a no go. 35/40 to 90 I think, defiantly not 90 up.

loonies over puns would almost work better. but they're not well matched at all. waste of loony bins to not run them through their full potential range. if this is a one off link up idea, have a play with them. but it's not a good long term plan at all.

I used to own some Punishers and found you could push them to about 120, maybe even 140Hz if you don't mind a little bit of colouration. Certainly no worse than a lot of bandpass horns designed for the dance music kick region. That was running them from 40Hz upwards though. Using them as dedicated kick bins would definitely not be a good application for them.
