H = 8 ohm
PL = "plain label", i.e. without rubber boot etc - as sold to other manufacturers for installation in their own cabinets etc.

and just to add:
J = 16 ohm
G = 4 ohm

Here is a JBL 2206 with the original JBL cone.

I think it is worth holding out for these.

I got Roy recones to re build 4 of mine that were in original JBL cabs. He did a great job of sourcing parts that were as similar as possible to the original cones and to be honest, I wouldn't say I hear much of a difference. They're a tough and smooth sounding all rounder. Shame I can't get an equally good after market option for the JBL comps that are in the cabs...

blah blah blah blah blah......

I thought I would try the power of AI to find an alternative to the JBL 2206 as there don't seem to be many about.

AI came up with the Beyma 12LX60V2.

Here are the data sheets of the drivers in one post so that they can be compared.

What do people think?

I got four 2206H sitting idle.
In good working and cosmetic condition.

But I am based in Denmark, so shipping might be a killer.
