I've got exactly the same problem. MS Sans Serif IS installed on my Linux Mint and installed in the "Windows" fonts folder, but HornResp will not start citing it cannot find MS Sans Serif. I've been trying for ages for a work around, but to no avail. I wrote a quick app in VB6 using that font, made the .exe and it runs under Wine but HornResp just will not.

Anybody got any ideas???

Guess I just don't have the time, to waste anymore.

So I have cheap, potent Dell hardware for running Linux, and know how to run Win11 on the same hardware, that is not quite Win11 supported.

I do also have Dell latitude 5590s with 8th gen CPUs, that officially support Win 11.

These can be had for £140, off ebay, now
